We aim to inspire locals and tourists to experience Abuja in an exciting way by sharing incredible guides and stories about its culture, events, attractions, hidden gems, and the amazing humans who bring the city to life.
Each year, our content is read by around 200,000 visitors.
About the role
For this role, we’re looking for a self-driven content writer who is based in Abuja, curious about what makes the city unique, and possesses a flair for storytelling.
Primarily, we’re looking for someone who can take everyday topics about living in Nigeria’s capital city and craft them into engaging blog content that resonates with our audience. We value writers who write in a friendly tone and are open to experimenting with various content formats.
Whether you’re just starting out or already have some experience, we’d love to hear from you.
Who you are
- 1-2 years of experience in content writing or content marketing.
- Good knowledge of SEO.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Open to feedback and willing to learn.
- Based in Abuja and familiar with the city’s culture and lifestyle.
- Good eye for design and familiarity with Canva & WordPress is a plus.
What you’ll do
- Create engaging, search-optimized guides and stories about various topics in Abuja.
- Curate content for a weekly newsletter.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm new content ideas.
