Born on 8, January 1959, Mohammed Musa Bello (CON) is a Nigerian banker and an indigene of Adamawa State. His father, Alhaji Musa Bello, was the Managing Director of Northern Nigeria Development Company (from 1970 to 1976) and was a trusted friend of President Buhari.

Bello attended Barewa College before proceeding to Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) in Zaria where he bagged a degree in Management (Banking and Finance) in 1980 as well as an MBA in the same field.
